 About Loving Real Estate Company

The Loving Real Estate Company had its beginning with the arrival of William E. Loving in Columbus in 1926. He was active in commercial and apartment development until his death in 1950. He formed a partnership for development of commercial properties with Don M. Casto Sr. that continued into the 1940's. His son Charles, picked up the reins at his father's death and has continued in the development and ownership of apartments. In addition, he acquired his real estate brokers license in 1965 and has been active in that area also ever since. Charles has worked on numerous boards through the years and, in real estate, has served as a 46 year member of the Columbus Board of Realtors and a 29 year member and former board member of the Columbus Apartment Association. He also served until recently on the board of the Discovery District and its SID (Special Improvement District).

The Loving name in real estate continues into the third generation with the arrival of Matthew, who has brought a wonderful energy into the office especially with his excellent technology expertise. He is active in both apartment management and real estate sales under Loving Realtors. Matthew has a surgeon brother who practices in New York City as well as two sisters, one an attorney and the other an interior decorator and wife of a New York City banker. For the time being there doesn't appear to be a fourth generation possibility but Matthew seems to find a way to do the impossible.
